Luego del duelo de Rock Nacional de Patinando por un Sueño 2008, el jurado del certamen decidió salvar a dos de las seis parejas sentenciadas. El conductor anunció que el público había elegido a Leonardo Tusam-Analía Papa y Rocío Marengo y Andrés Ciacia para que se conviertan en semifinalistas del certamen, de esta manera, Jésica Cirio-Juan Pablo Piancino y Luciana Bianchi-Julián García quedaron eliminados de la competencia.
Leonardo Tusam y Analía Papa obtuvieron el 38,5% de los votos, mientras que Rocío Marengo y Andrés Ciacia se quedaron en el 29,1%. Por otro lado, Jésica Cirio y Juan Pablo Piancino el 14,1% y Luciana Bianchi y Julián García el 18,3% de los votos.
